Within our European Growth & Sales team, we have an immediate requirement for a Proposal Writers to work on some of our region’s largest pursuits and opportunities.

The successful candidate will deliver the following responsibilities:

  • Develop bespoke content for proposals, ensuring it resonates with an opportunity’s win themes.
  • Working alongside technical colleagues to understand our key sales messaging and make it compelling and convincing for our clients.
  • Produce high-quality, easy-to-understand documentation, including bid responses, project descriptions, capability statements, CVs, boilerplate content and other go-to-market documents, appropriate for its intended audience.
  • Edit and improve text to ensure it is accessible and written in plain language.
  • Focus on researching and retrieving content from within Jacobs’ internal systems.
  • Follow established templates, processes and best practices for the design and creation of writing which complies with tender requirements and our corporate standards for readability, consistency, tone, and branding.
  • Consistently develop your business wide and personal knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
  • Apply lesson learnt to drive continual improvement within our sales process.
Here's what you'll need

Previous sales experience is desirable. We are looking for writers with an ability to work alongside international and diverse teams to gather content. Those with an additional interest in technology as we continue to improve efficiency in bid content development is desirable. Writers with strong communication skills, a passion to win, and excellent writing ability.

  • Ability to deliver high-quality documentation, paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn technical/engineering concepts and make them easily understandable in simple, concise and impactful language.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English (including writing, editing, and proofreading)
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to establish and meet deadlines.
  • A background in a relevant discipline (Danish/English Literature/Language, Creative Writing, Journalism, Media)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Work may be required out of core hours, although we try to keep this to a minimum.
