The opportunity: As a Content/Copy Editor with expertise in life sciences, either internal or at an agency that specialized in life science work, you will play a crucial role in proofreading our promotional materials for accuracy. You will work closely with our internal teams as well as our client’s marketing teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Editing and Proofreading:Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, grammar, spelling and punctuation as well as adherence to style guidelines. Collaborate with team members to review and improve each other's work.
    • Work with written content to proofread multiple versions and edit for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Will need to have attention to detail.
    • Command of style rules associated with all digital channels and adherence to individual clients' style when required.
  • Develop:clear and concise direction to matrix team members on a full range of marketing materials across digital channels, including IVAs, websites, banners, emails, and social media platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team members to ensure accuracy in messaging. Collaborate with MLR team & other matrix team members to ensure quality submissions.
  • Brand Voice and Consistency:Maintain and uphold the brand’s voice, ensuring consistency across all communication channels and audiences.
  • Compliance:

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences Marketing, Advertising or related discipline).
  • Proven experience as a Copy editor within life sciences at an Agency with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with life science industry regulations and guidelines governing promotional marketing.
  • Proficiency in using content creation tools and promotional platforms (e.g., Adobe, Veeva).
  • Willingness to be on-site 40-60% of the time in Princeton, NJ. (Generally, Tues, Wed, Thur)

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $176,500. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115,500 to $200,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
