  • Develop, organize, and manage clinical trial protocols, including study design, selection criteria, and protocol writing.
  • Perform statistical modeling and simulation to optimize clinical trial designs.
  • Implement advanced statistical methods to analyze, interpret, and visualize complex clinical data.
  • Collaborate with clinical and research leaders to understand data needs and apply appropriate methodologies.
  • Assess the feasibility of proposed clinical trials based on statistical modeling.
  • Apply innovative strategies to manage missing data, model selection, and validation.
  • Provide statistical expertise and guidance to clinical teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all clinical trial activities comply with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports of clinical trial results, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of new trends and advancements in the field of clinical trials and statistical modeling.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately five years of related work experience; or a graduate degree in the same and approximately four years of related work experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Life Sciences Research and Early Discovery(R&ED) data & analytics in Target Screening, Lead Optimization, Vaccines, Lab – Dry & Wet, Instrumentation, LIMS, CMC and other relevant areas
  • Strong Life Sciences R&ED Data Information Architecture Development – Functional and Technical experience
  • Proven experience as Clinical Trial Developer researcher or a relevant role, preferably in a senior position.
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling and clinical trial design.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (SAS, R, Python, etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of clinical trial regulatory and submission processes.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial data management systems.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards like CDISC SDTM, ADaM, and Define-XML.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A minimum of four years’ experience providing consulting services with a strategic focus in helping clients achieve transformational value by improving performance through the use of data and analytics solutions.
  • A willingness to travel to meet client needs. A valid driver’s license in the US

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Master's or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with big data platforms and cloud (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, etc)
  • Experience with data and systems architecture (APIs, messaging, etc.)
  • Experience with master data management and data governance
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $116,200 to $213,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $139,400 to $242,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
