Specifically, you will be a part of a team that assists clients to review and build financial models for purposes of financial reporting, projections development, feasibility studies, transaction support and corporate strategy whilst incorporating sophisticated techniques to analyze data to assist clients in making better and more informed choices. Additionally, you will help clients plan mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, debt and equity sourcing.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Assist Managers, and Partners in the delivery of corporate finance, strategy and transaction advisory related services;
  • Assist in the design of financial projections and conduct financial analyses related to investment and valuation data;
  • Perform data analytics on client information to determine valuable insights and drive better decision making;
  • Prepare/evaluate pro forma financial information;
  • Assist in the preparation of information memoranda with respect to feasibility, acquisition, divestiture, valuation, due diligence and financing transactions;
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research, collate and present data, and prepare marketing documents and presentations;
  • Execute procedures defined by the engagement objectives, client's engagement history, and planned approach;
  • Perform research, prepare schedules, and support due diligence in other related areas;
  • Stay informed of current business/economic developments relevant to the client;
  • Commit to developing knowledge and use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery;
  • Bring potential opportunities to the team's attention as well as seek, develop, and present ideas to apply EY's services.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office suite (Specially, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Teams).

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Academic degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management or similar fields of study;
  • Minimum of 4 years of sound experience in Corporate Finance;
  • Interest on problem solving situations with autonomy to research and discuss potential solutions;
  • Good technical writing and presentation skills;
  • Upper intermediate English level (minimum) and fluent in Portuguese.
