  • Drive demand generation programs to support lead generation and pipeline acceleration, working with sales and field marketing teams.
  • Define and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, aligning campaigns with key industry trends and customer pain points.
  • Develop sales enablement assets (battle cards, competitive intelligence, case studies, solution briefs) to support field sales and partner teams.
  • Analyze campaign performance using marketing analytics tools to assess effectiveness, optimize programs, and improve conversion rates.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure lead follow-up, track pipeline progression, and refine strategies to improve conversion and sales engagement.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify differentiation opportunities and refine messaging.
  • Engage with customers, analysts, and industry experts to understand market trends and inform marketing strategies.
  • Represent BMC at conferences, industry events, and customer briefings to build brand awareness and thought leadership.
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset and experience:
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • You have 8+ years of experience in solutions marketing, product marketing, or GTM strategy in enterprise software, preferably in cloud storage, object storage, mainframe, or cybersecurity.
  • You have proven experience in demand generation, campaign execution, and sales enablement.
  • Ability to analyze marketing performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine campaigns.
  • You are able to collaborate across functions, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience with MS Office and solid presentation skills utilizing PowerPoint.
