We’re seeking a Partner Solution Architect (PSA) for to work alongside our Telco Partners across Asia, with a focus on Japan region.You will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud Solutions, specifically Modern Work (including M365), Copilot and Unified Communications (including Teams Phone).

As a Partner Solution Architect (PSA) for Telco Partners, you will guide the development of business solutions, helping them take it to market through GTM programs and initiatives, provide deep technical insights, and accelerate the growth of Microsoft Tech priorities, with a focus on Modern Work (including M365) and Unified Communications (including Teams Phone). You will work closely with partners to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, and guide them through architectural design sessions, developing proof of concepts, and help them transition from legacy systems to modern cloud environments, ensuring that their solutions are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency.

Required (RQs)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 4+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience
    • OR master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 3+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 6-10+ years of related experience in technology IP solutions or services development, with a deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, and emerging cloud trends like generative AI (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) and SaaS (Software as a Service) services
  • Strong background and in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft's cloud offerings (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365)
    • M365 tenant management
    • Security, governance, and data access best practices
    • Adoption and Change management (Prosci)
    • Build Copilot extensionsorWindows virtualization – W365 & AVD


Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external)
  • 4+ years experience working on technical projects
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications
Responsibilities
  • Enablement Execution:
    • Lead and/or contribute to the delivery of workshops, bootcamps, and trainings necessary to build partners’ technical skills.
    Technical Engagement
    • Lead deep technical engagements, including Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions and Hackathons.
    Best Practice Sharing
    • Collaborate with Microsoft’s Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, GTM and other teams to generate technical insight and enable best practices sharing.
    Solution Development
    • Aid partners to develop and implement high quality solutions and/or services leveraging Microsoft’s latest technologies.
    Evangelism
    • Evangelize partners’ practices and solutions in customers’ implementations via Technical briefings and Architecture Review Sessions.
    Tech Sales
    • Enable partners on technical pre-sales skills while supporting initial partners’ wins and work to unblock technical issues.
    Partner Development And Growth
    • You will support the Partner Development Managers in developing and executing a strategic and tactical partner business plan aligned with Microsoft goals and the Telco Partners' business objectives to drive mutual growth in Modern Work, Copilot and Unified Communications areas.
    • You will promote AI cloud consumption and digital transformation; plans will consider short and long-term goals and performance expectations aligned with partner needs and capabilities.
    Partner Sales And Acceleration
    • You will facilitate collaboration between partner and Microsoft Partner and Customer Account sales teams to overcome obstacles, compete, and create proposals to meet consumption and revenue targets.
    • You will work with your partner on top opportunities following the Microsoft sales methodology and prioritize transactions through marketplace, where possible.
    Partner Performance And Impact
    • You will be responsible for your partners’ performance with Microsoft and accountable for keeping a regular rhythm of connection with executive, sales and delivery teams to identify and resolve blockers in execution, and to accelerate performance.
    • You will drive adoption, usage and performance of programs and investments that contribute to sales and consumption. You will be responsible for the correction of errors plan when execution is below expectations.
