The Global Partner & Routes To Market Organization’s Co-Innovation team is a collection of hard-working experts who develop globally scalable channel go-to-market strategies focused on building an extended ecosystem capable of delivering customer outcomes to:

  • Identifying, developing and optimizing route to market opportunities
  • Capturing partner mind/wallet share through enablement, incentives and practice building
  • Representing thought leadership and the ‘voice of the partner’ back into Cisco’s various functions – including, but not limited to, Business Units, WW Sales, Corporate Development, Operations, etc.

Your Impact

This GPRS SBDM will lead the MINT Services motion along with driving the overall GPRS Co-Innovation strategy across and into supported complimentary architectures. The GPRS SBDM will work cross-functionally with other Co-innovation leads, business units, marketing, finance, sales teams, regional channel teams and other subject matter experts across Cisco to:

  • Be a subject matter expert for the assigned architecture to support GPRS Co-Innovation activities
  • Ideate and drive ecosystem innovation leadership across assigned architectures
  • Liaison with Co-Innovation Central Ops team to drive day-to-day program initiatives and activities
  • Understand business & technical uses cases that increase partners investment in Cisco and the ecosystem partners solution
  • Prioritize partner projects and influence where to invest for the greatest return on investment
  • Develop a ‘point of view’ on financial impacts, business trends, and new partner opportunities
  • Build enablement and practice building frameworks
  • Develop, influence, and execute budget proposals and business rationale
  • Be a central point and proactively interlock standard processes / case studies across regions
  • Work with internal collaborators and external partner key contacts
  • Be a channel subject matter expert for our relevant acquisition integrations
  • Understand offer roadmaps and insert the partner perspective into new product introductions
  • Regularly interlock with BU, field sales/channel teams to uncover new strategic needs and subsequently implement those initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 10+ years of related experience
  • Experience articulating key architecture solutions to CxO level decision makers from both a technical and business acumen standpoint
  • Experience in field sales roles (e.g. direct, channels)
  • Experience in designing/driving complex projects, programs and processes at scale
  • Subject matter and technical expertise in relevant Cisco solutions and architecture
  • 4 years experience working in a remote team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent intellectual and analytical skills - ability to structure problem statements and be the catalyst for uncovering new ways to solve problems.
  • Experience with with excel business case modeling and/or budget development
  • Prior management consulting, business development, or strategy & planning experiences are desired
  • MBA or equivalent experience
  • Active working experience and relationships with partners and distributors worldwide across relevant architectures
  • The ability to articulate and persuade key stakeholders to drive initiatives from inception to completion
  • An understanding of strategy, industry, and market concepts (e.g. TAM, Competition)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – an ability to graphically representnew ideas and concepts to executive leaders
  • A keen understanding of relationship development and influence in highly matrixed environments
