We are looking for an experienced Principal Solutions Marketing Manager with deep experience in either AIOps, ITOM, observability and monitoring to join our team. Experience in DevOps and DevSecOps and/or developer marketing is a plus. You will develop audience-based positioning and messaging that build awareness, preference, and loyalty across our campaigns. This person will work closely with product management and sales teams to define, scale and evangelize our story, build customer relationships, and develop solution-focused content to drive pipeline growth and conversion. As part of your responsibilities, you will represent BMC at industry events, sales and partner meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop solution-oriented content that articulates our value proposition to target buyers and markets and our differentiation in the marketplace
- Drive the launch process for solutions and products, including content creation, analyst outreach, and enablement of the sales and customer success teams.
- Develop an intimate understanding of our customers and their most pressing business challenges through market interactions, research and feedback loops.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to reinforce BMC’s competitive differentiation.
- Lead go-to-market execution for our solutions and influence how we prioritize and win target markets, product categories, and buyer segments
- Develop marketing content to support the entire customer adoption lifecycle, including assets for the communications, demand gen, inside sales, direct sales, and customer success teams. Assets will include presentations, white papers, solution briefs, web content, demos and demo scripts, videos, ROI models, and competitive materials.
- Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to develop programs to drive demand and grow the sales pipeline.
- Develop strong partnerships and processes across the organization to enable strategic decision-making.
- Support awareness and thought leadership goals; support AR/PR and awareness activities including representing BMC at trade shows, industry events and other thought leadership forums.
- Represent BMC externally at conferences and in customer meetings in a credible and compelling manner
- Engage with technology partners in the ecosystem to create the integration and GTM synergies that can expand our growth rate, and increase relevance in our customer environments, and provide competitive advantages
