Key position responsibilities include:

This positionhas a primary responsibility for mitigating risk by ensuring policy/procedures are being applied across the ARBSO teams. This will also include all state and legal requirements as well as reputational risks. Tasks include, updating procedures and letters as well as reviewing production reporting to include analyzing the data to ensure risks are negated. This also will require to identify gaps in the process and escalating where applicable. Communicating effectively within lines of business and at all levels within the firm are key. Additional duties may includeChange Management process, Change Manager, Privacy Awareness, AOQC, LMOS, SAT Tool/AMG Process, Department Scorecards, and other initiatives as they are developed by the business. Also, will need to be able to provide feedback, coaching, and development to associates and in some case to leadership.Working knowledge of the Chase Auto Special Collections, Post Charge Off Collections, and Repossession processes is preferred but not required.


Job responsibilities

  • Department and/or Team reporting, monitoring and various approvals
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Ability to identify potential risk and react immediately with resolution.
  • Assisting the department manager on special assignments
  • Various misc. items
  • Responsible for handling a queue of high balance, charged off accounts to locate collateral for repossession efforts and/or potential replevin assignment.

  • Extensive knowledge of collection techniques for both open and charged off accounts for Auto
  • Self -Motivated & expected to work to complete work to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills
  • Previous experience in handling unique/specialized accounts
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Identify and mitigate risk and escalate appropriately
  • Work independently of supervisor on predominately complex matters
  • Apply standard collection practices, principles, theories, and concept
  • Support a large network of internal departments that all have segments of this process and ensure all groups are functioning as intended
  • Show a strong understanding and experience with control reporting/mitigating risk
  • Extensive knowledge of company and/or department procedures related to different auto LOB
