Responsibilities:
• Lead the Security Engineering teams for the NS2 Cloud and NS2 Corporate environments
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to members of the Security Engineering teams
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of security solutions that meet the organization's security requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including automation, operations, compliance, and security monitoring, to ensure the implementation of robust security controls
• Ensure the security of NS2 cloud and corporate infrastructure and provide guidance on implementation of security best practices
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop and maintain security-related documentation, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
• Ability to quickly and effectively communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong security-focused systems engineering background in on-premise, hybrid, or cloud environments
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
• 3 years of hands-on experience deploying solutions and services in AWS Cloud
• Solid understanding of container and container orchestration technologies
• Strong grasp on CI/CD concepts and familiarity with the implementation and deployment of automation technologies such as terraform and ansible
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to work and deliver high quality results under pressure
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 control families is a plus
• Operational experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform a plus
• 5+ years' of experience in an systems or security engineering roles
• Minimum of 2 years' experience leading a technical team or performing in a technical lead capacity is required
• Ability to manage expectations with multiple stakeholders on projects and programs in conjunction with information security team
• Demonstrated personal integrity, the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exhibit the appropriate level of judgment and decision making commensurate with the position and responsibilities
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field) preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, RedHat Certified Engineer
