GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES

• Create, implement, and document the following processes for IT Services:
  • performance monitoring
  • problem troubleshooting / helpdesk response
  • landscape configuration and standards
  • IMAC (installation, move, add, change) services for IT
  • change management methodology
• Perform/coordinate incident diagnosis, corrective action, and root cause analysis
• Configuration, testing, installation, modification, and servicing within IT (switches, routers, servers, wireless, etc)
• Organize work requests based on project/task priorities.
• Plan and perform systems analysis and design activities including development of detailed functional requirements for new solutions
• Maintain responsibility for end-user (customer) satisfaction
• Assist in planning and executing internal IT projects
• Assist in enhancing IT communications by designing and maintaining engaging SharePoint pages to share updates and resources effectively
• Collaborate on improving IT processes by gathering data, analyzing workflows, and suggesting enhancements.
• Help manage and maintain Audio/Video equipment inventory, including scheduling maintenance and upgrades.
• Participate in testing and documentation for various tools
• Provide support for department activities, including scheduling, tracking action items, and maintaining project documentation.
• Shadow team members to gain a deeper understanding of IT Services and its role in supporting the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing or a recent grad with a Computer Science / MIS / Information Technology, or related technical major
• Basic understanding of networking protocols
• Experience with telephony, desktop operating systems and server environments desirable
• Strong organizational skills
• Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to work effectively within a group dynamic
• Preparing and making written and oral presentations of a technical nature

SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS DESIRED:

• Experience with Windows/UNIX/Linux operating systems
• Basic Scripting Skills: (examples: Perl, Python, PowerShell)
• Proficient on Microsoft Windows o365 tools [Visio, Teams and SharePoint highly desired]
• Understanding of public cloud environments such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Vendor certifications
• Basic networking fundamentals
• Experience with patching Windows/UNIX/Linux operating systems
