How You Make a Difference

As an Account Manager Kitchen Retail, you will manage and expand a client portfolio in your region, focusing on building strong relationships with independent retailers, regional stores, and purchasing groups. Your responsibilities include negotiating commercial terms, increasing product distribution, and ensuring effective use of marketing budgets. You will independently plan client visits, analyze market trends, and provide strategic insights to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the client portfolio by regularly visiting stores and building strong relationships with independent retailers, chains, and wholesalers in your assigned region.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and marketing activities to increase sales and drive the distribution of Samsung products.
  • Expand Samsung’s presence in the region by identifying new opportunities and broadening the product range with existing clients.
  • Collect market information about the kitchen industry and monitor competitors to seize new opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts and manage sales data to optimize the performance of your client portfolio.
  • Participate in company and partner events to represent the company and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Ensure that the allocated customer budget is spent effectively on agreed commercial and marketing activities, in line with company guidelines.
  • Use Excel to create reports, analyze sales performance, and develop action plans for further client growth.
  • Deliver presentations in PowerPoint and report progress during internal team and sales meetings.
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, track commitments made to clients, and ensure proper follow-up to maintain strong and lasting partnerships.

What Are Your Assets

We also request:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in sales or the kitchen retail industry.
  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in a commercial or economic field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and Dutch, with strong communication skills in English.
  • Proven sales skills, with the ability to manage accounts and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • A flexible, non-9-to-5 mentality, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for reporting, PowerPoint for presentations), and a proactive mindset.
  • Availability to spend 4 days per week in the field, conducting 4 to 5 customer visits per day, with 1 fixed office day per week.
