Job Summary

NetApp is looking for a tenacious Senior Financial Analyst to join our PCS Finance team. This is a stellar opportunity to get involved in a highly visible, large scale SaaS cloud company. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle unique problems that no one else is solving, keep reading.

The primary role of a Senior Financial Analyst is to provide extensive business partnering and financial support to the Cloud BU. You will oversee financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and decision support for the Product, Technology and Sales leadership teams.

This is a cross functional role, where you will partner with multiple functions including Engineering, Product teams, GTM, Accounting and Corporate Finance, legal and procurement to deliver accurate financial forecasting, actionable insights, and meaningful updates. Analytical thinking, crisp communication, effective business partnering and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are key to success in this role.

Job Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills as needed to work successfully with staff and managers within and outside of function or the company.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.

  • Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Hyperion skills a plus.
  • Problem solver, an individual who demonstrates good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying them in advance, and proposing solutions
  • Work with minimal supervision, particularly when tasks are unstructured and canmulti-tasks and prioritize work, and proactively anticipate and avoid financial or communication issues.
  • Someone who is self-motivated and drives end-to-end results
  • Is detail oriented and can prioritize work in order to meet deadlines
  • Is not afraid of taking on new challenges

• BS/BA degree with 5+ years’ experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and /or Business Finance
