Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience in development and mass production of optical system for consumer electronics
  • 10+ years of industry experience in lens processes, integration, and development or applicable related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adaptable and collaborative, with a readiness to thrive in a fast-paced product and technology development environment
  • Skilled in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for tackling complex systemic issues, performing root cause analysis, and devising effective mitigation plans
  • Strong communication skills; with a demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including optical designers, materials scientists, manufacturing specialists, mechanical engineers, system engineers, reliability team members, and vendors to achieve project goals
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
  • Quick learner with a background in optics, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, or mechanical engineering is preferred
  • Experience with optics/lens design is highly desirable
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
