Key Qualifications
- Track of record on development and mass production of optical system for consumer electronics
- Experience with display/optics/optical system design preferred
- Flexible and collaborative, willing to work in fast paced product and technology development
- Ability to develop and implement cohesive strategies to understand difficult systematic problems, perform root cause analysis and develop mitigation strategies
- Strong communication and multi-functional collaboration skills
- Strong presentation and social skills
- 5+ years of display or optics engineering work experience
Education & Experience
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
Additional Requirements
- Preferred Qualifications:
- - Experience in full engineering build cycles of optics/display related products
- - Familiarity with optical modeling tools (Light Tools, Zemax, etc)
- - Experience with data analysis tools (JMP, MATLAB etc)
- - Experience with geometrical optics, diffractive optics and micro display technologies
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
