Minimum Qualifications
- Master degree in Engineering, like electrical, mechanical, optical, or physics
- Industry experience in consumer electronics
- Experience driving vendor interactions and negotiating technical specifications to achieve project technical goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in leading optical and opto-mechanical module technical development over full project cycle, from initial design requirements to sustained production
- Knowledge of and experience with manufacturing methods and processes used on fabrication of optical modules, including lenses and actuators
- Experience of bringing up new vendor to technology development and mass production
- Skilled in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for tackling complex systemic issues, performing failure analysis, data analysis, image processing and devising effective mitigation plans
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration in the areas of optical, mechanical, electrical design and reliability team
- Experienced in writhing technical requirement specification documents
- Familiar with metrology or manufacturing equipment development
