The Program:
Commercial Organization
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Product Design team to improve the online shopping experience for customers on HP.com.
Assist in designing, developing, and optimizing the user interface (UI) for the eCommerce platform, focusing on ease of navigation and overall user satisfaction.
Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and calls to action across product pages and landing pages.
Assist in conducting A/B tests and usability tests to gather user feedback and refine design elements.
Analyze website performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in user experience, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
Assist with troubleshooting any front-end issues and collaborate with the development team to implement solutions.
• Currently enrolled in a four-year college and returning to school following the internship.
• Basic understanding of web design principles and UI/UX best practices.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web design software (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on visual design and layout consistency.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills (Preferred Qualifications):
• Experience with eCommerce platforms
• Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile-first design principles.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices as it applies to web design.
• Experience using analytics tools to assess website performance.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or other front-end development languages.
• Understanding of customer-centered design and how to optimize for user engagement and conversion.
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to innovate within design constraints
