This role is flexible in that you can work

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

  • 4+ years category management, product management, marketing strategy, business planning, product planning, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, Engineering, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2 +years experiencein consumer electronics industry, gaming industry, retail category management, or subscription services.
  • 2 +years experiencein budget management, market data, and deal opportunities.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years category management, product management, marketing strategy, business planning, product planning,or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing,Finance,Communications, Economics, Public Relations, Engineering, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience managing and expanding a category and attaining sales and profitability targets within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience planning and executing assortment plans, marketing strategies, and activities that drive business results.
  • Be a skillful leader, able to directly deliver and deliverthrough the influenceof others - both internally at Microsoft and externallythroughretail partners.
  • Be a confident leader,representingyour business in front of partners and stakeholders at all levels inside and outside Microsoft.
  • A successfultrack recordin managing and transforming a consumer category, while meeting sales and profitability targets.
