Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in failure analysis for consumer electronic products.
- Experience working with lab tools (microscope, balance) and utilizing lab tools to answer questions.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- Experience with inspection equipment (X-ray, CT), and scanning electron microscopy.
- Experience with programming in 1 or more of the following languages: MATLAB, Python, R, JavaScript, C/C++ and GenAI.
- Experience in experimental automation, instrument control, data analysis tools, numerical simulations, or statistical analyses.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including international travel.
