Job responsibilities:

  • Assisting the team in managing existing client relationships and developing new business and client strategies. Engage in discussions with sales, product teams and internal functions at J.P. Morgan as required.
  • Developing broad subject matter expertise across lines of business about our relevant clients. This includes in-depth research and an understanding of the entire universe of clients and prospects, buying behaviors, drivers, business models, internal products, competitors, economic outlook and industry developments, trends and challenges
  • Assisting with the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials
  • Assist the team on the maintenance of existing business relationship, as well as the management of KYC on-boarding, renewal and remediation.
  • Maintaining internal reports including quarterly business reviews and other analytical reporting
  • Preparing internal memos including those required at the various levels of transaction approvals, client relationship overview, briefing notes, etc.
  • Assisting with the organization of client seminars and training
  • Facilitate the origination efforts with Senior bankers and product teams to identify, structure and deliver value-add solutions across product universe including FX & Rates, Commodities, Futures & Options, DCM, Payments (Treasury Services/Cash Management), Trade Finance, Lending, Securities Services and Asset Management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • 1 year of prior experience in similar public sector coverage role or experience in Markets Sales, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, DCM, Security Services, or Treasury Services.
  • Fluency in English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in other Asian languages would be desirable, especially Chinese Mandarin.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel
  • A team player passionate about public sector institutions and a high level of motivation to learn about and work with public sector clients
  • Bachelor's degree or higher. Academic credentials on economics, international economic relations and/or any other public policy related subject are desirable
