Assisting the team in managing existing client relationships and developing new business and client strategies. Engage in discussions with sales, product teams and internal functions at J.P. Morgan as required.
Developing broad subject matter expertise across lines of business about our relevant clients. This includes in-depth research and an understanding of the entire universe of clients and prospects, buying behaviors, drivers, business models, internal products, competitors, economic outlook and industry developments, trends and challenges
Assisting with the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials
Assist the team on the maintenance of existing business relationship, as well as the management of KYC on-boarding, renewal and remediation.
Maintaining internal reports including quarterly business reviews and other analytical reporting
Preparing internal memos including those required at the various levels of transaction approvals, client relationship overview, briefing notes, etc.
Assisting with the organization of client seminars and training
Facilitate the origination efforts with Senior bankers and product teams to identify, structure and deliver value-add solutions across product universe including FX & Rates, Commodities, Futures & Options, DCM, Payments (Treasury Services/Cash Management), Trade Finance, Lending, Securities Services and Asset Management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
1 year of prior experience in similar public sector coverage role or experience in Markets Sales, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, DCM, Security Services, or Treasury Services.
Fluency in English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in other Asian languages would be desirable, especially Chinese Mandarin.
Strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel
A team player passionate about public sector institutions and a high level of motivation to learn about and work with public sector clients
Bachelor's degree or higher. Academic credentials on economics, international economic relations and/or any other public policy related subject are desirable
