This role is balanced between daily recurring tasks such as supporting onboarding for new hires, data entry and audits with Workday (HRIS system) as well as contributing to projects such as Open Enrollment (US benefit annual event), annual compensation planning and rolling out new perks and/or program implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the onboarding process for new hires by collecting documents and track the completion of onboarding tasks in Workday (req creation, hiring, onboarding, and employment verification)

  • Various data entry and basic configuration tasks within Workday that would require the highest level of attention to detail and confidentiality

  • Responds timely to inquiries from employees ensuring a positive employee experience, escalating to the right contact as needed

  • Conduct regular audits of compensation and benefits data and identify areas to streamline and reduce errors

  • Analyze current business processes, reduce redundancies and identify areas for potential improvement

  • Cross collaboration with different areas in the business to provide outstanding customer service and ensure optimal employee experience

  • Assist in the completion of benefits enrollments internationally

  • Provide demographic changes to international benefits vendors to ensure data is accurate and up to date

  • Create purchase orders and submit invoices to accounts payable

  • Assist with annual benefits Open Enrollment by partnering with the Benefit’s team to work through the project plan from start to finish

  • Participate in rolling out the annual compensation cycle

  • Participate in projects related to new implementations or process improvements and collaborate with team on new initiatives

  • Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of our compensation and benefits programs

  • Participate in/lead People Operations projects in support of company growth and scalability

Qualifications:

  • College/University graduate in related discipline and looking to gain experience in People Strategy with a focus on People Operations & Total Rewards

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheet experience obtained through a combination of college level coursework or prior work experience and interest in continuing to develop spreadsheet based analysis skills

  • After training, ability to complete tasks with minimal direction

  • Energized by a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires working on multiple projects at once, without compromising quality and service levels

  • Sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information

  • Team player and self starter

  • Interest in gaining experience using Workday (HR system) (Prior experience with Workday a plus!)
