Responsible for managing a list of major customers and partners in region of Northrhine-Westphalia. Building relationships with key stakeholders
Focal point for relationship strategies, account and sales plans, proposal strategies, deal negotiations and successful close
Identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into the account
Own day to day and strategic tasks: maintaining a balanced approach to outstanding customer service and strategic account planning; quarterly results and long-term account goals
Development of account plans, aligned to strategic objectives, carry out product demonstrations at customer and partner locations
Provide accurate and timely forecasts
Inspect installed equipment at customer location
Keep the CRM system up to date with all sales related activity including (but not limited to) meeting schedules, meeting notes, contact persons, business plans, as appropriate, quotations, price requests, revenue forecast data, schedule dates and sales team members
Key skills and requirements
Degree level qualification in Science or Engineering preferred
Fluent command of German language, good Level of English for internal communication
Experience of technical sales in the are of gas detection or similar segments (electronic product, products related to safety)
Awareness of the gas detection industry
Experience of presenting to senior technical customers, high value negotiation
Good time management skills, strong business acumen
