Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategy to increase pipeline and business practices and to drive opportunities further in the sales cycle, up to and including closure.
- Assume full responsibility for driving accurate sales forecasting within the team.
- Employee management including, but not limited to, interviewing and hiring candidates for open positions, onboarding, establishing goals, assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training with a strong emphasis on coaching, giving guidance to staff, conducting performance evaluations, approving paid time-off (PTO), developing performance improvement plans, and taking disciplinary action.
- Interacts internally and externally with cross functional departments and cultivate key relationships with Partners, Channel, Finance, Marketing, Field Sales and other F5 internal key stake holders.
- Positions sales teams to achieve maximum potential in meeting both short and long-term objectives.
- Partner closely with marketing team to develop a marketing strategy for lead generation through events as well as the development of specialized marketing materials to demonstrate the value proposition within the vertical.
- Troubleshoot problems and questions regarding internal policies before escalation to management.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends, technical developments and incorporate into selling strategies and department training.
- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

What You’ll Do
- Provide mentoring and training to: develop a data driven team to scale and drive growth of Digital Sales through solution selling; deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients by identifying their digital business needs, gaps, and opportunities; using data to understand where customers are in their journey to provide the right experience at the right time
- Understand how to utilize digital ecosystems to keep customers informed to meet their needs
- Accountable for careerdevelopment/planning,performance and pay discussions of team members and lead the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse effective workplace
- Track, understand, and be held accountable to various program metrics, such as number of meetings, number of deals closed, overall team production, and more; drive behaviors necessary to meet and exceed these targets
- Support Digital Sales Account Managers with quarterly sales action plans and redirect activities to ensure improved performance
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the team, raising improvement suggestions to the Digital Sales Lead
- Influence and participate in the quota setting process at the team/individual level
- Provide direction, development and inspiration to your team members in the organization
- Understand F5’s business/industry and uses that knowledge to plan for the future
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of shown success in a digital sales function and digital salesmanagement/supervisorymanagement experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
- Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 10% of the time spent traveling.
