Your Impact

A leader who understands with comprehensive understanding of performance which impacts both internal and external Compliance posture. The individual will work with other team members to drive various initiatives necessary to improve it. It requires an individual to showcase in-depth knowledge and decision making skills based on risk to build long term balanced process paths to improve our Compliance and Security posture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive Cisco’s overarching public sector compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • Lead executive engagements and influence policy decisions related to compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, and StateRAMP.
  • Establish high-level relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry working groups to advocate for Cisco’s compliance initiatives.
  • Lead all aspects of compliance automation initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership on compliance risks and opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of compliance programs through industry standard processes and innovation.
Who You Are
  • A strategic compliance leader with deep expertise in US public sector security regulations, and skilled in developing and executing compliance strategies that enable business growth.
  • Adept at influencing senior leadership and encouraging a compliance-first culture.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology and automation to optimize compliance efforts.
  • An advisor with a strong network within regulatory communities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in public sector compliance, such as NIST RMF, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security and compliance automation (e.g., OSCAL).
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing regulatory policy and driving market access initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven track record of leading compliance programs at an enterprise level.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
