As a Cognyter you will:

  • Lead, manage and mentor the Finance team across multiple locations, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Oversee the global accounting function and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Closing of Quarterly and Annually financial statements.
  • Analyze financial results, variances, and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Monitoring business performance and working capital to optimize cash flow and ensure liquidity.
  • Preparation of operational and financial information and reports and data to provide meaningful information for the Company’s management.
  • Strategic planning, partner with cross functional teams to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, cost optimization and business performance.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and processes to mitigate risks and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and other departments to align financial strategies with operational goals, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
  • Assess potential financial implications, conduct due diligence, and provide financial analysis for potential M&As.
  • Ensure compliance regarding Tax, VAT legislation, domestic and foreign.
  • Travel may be required for conferences and business meetings.

For that mission you’ll need:

  • ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified with Big Four and industry experience.
  • 10+ years of experience, out of which 3-5 with Big Four and rest 5-7+ years of relevant experience (preferably from traded companies)
  • Experience in managing extensive large accounting and finance teams in a global environment.
  • Extensive experience with accounting systems and financial policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills: ability to coach, motivate and lead a team to reach the highest standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory requirements
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting
