Your Impact

  • Lead a team of sales leaders and field sellers to drive revenue attainment while continuously building a robust pipeline, and landing new customer logos
  • Build a holistic sales execution plan focused on short-, mid- and long-term objectives to achieve sustainable growth
  • Deeply understand Mittelstand customers’ needs by doing research and applying data to develop insight into their priorities
  • Bring support to your team by leading account plan reviews and supporting key customer meetings yourself
  • Deep dive into regular territory pipeline and forecasting activities to coach direct reports on strategies to drive closure
  • Lead from the front and actively engage in relationship building and opportunity development supporting your team in closing opportunities
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture that delivers results in bookings, sales development, and forecast accuracy while simultaneously mentoring and developing your team
  • Ability to communicate with leaders at all levels, including C-suite and establish open and trusting relationships
  • Develop a winning team through targeted recruiting and training upholding our core values

Your Experience

  • Experience and knowledge of SaaS and cloud-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context
  • Experience and network with channel and partner sales models
  • Proven ability to create diverse and high-performing teams in a rapidly growing sales environment
  • Visionary and experienced in motivating a team to the highest standards and performance
  • Year over year track record of successful sales pipeline building, associated pipeline management and conversion
  • Highly driven with an execution focus, a strong sense of urgency and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Track record of consistently delivering revenue numbers and goals while maintaining a focus on team development and growth
  • Proven ability to organizational agility
  • Excellent at influencing others, both externally and internally in a matrix environment; ability to communicate effectively and build consensus across various functional groups to achieve goals
  • Being a great team player, building excellent rapport and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Being a role model, embodying Palo Alto Networks' company values
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English (written and spoken)
