You have a working knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices, and tools for administering projects.
You have familiarity with successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.
• Managing the full project lifecycle and maintaining compliance with PMO routines from initiation to project closure. This implies setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of projects.
• Overseeing project processes and procedures; monitoring the productivity and performance of project team.
• Ensuring adherence to project schedules and completion of project goals.
• Preparing reports for upper management regarding status of projects; representing the core project team in read-outs.
• Adhering to best practices as documented within the NetApp Strategic PMO.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 1 year and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience. Specific training associated with Project Management is a plus. Typical courses include PMI sponsored (or equivalent) seminars, webinars, formal courses, etc. Smartsheet tool familiarity is a plus.
