The Contract Management team closes contractual negotiations with GPS clients around the world as quickly and efficiently as possible, reducing time to revenue, minimizing legal costs, while protecting both the client relationship and BofA’s risk position. Enterprise Contract Management has mandated a policy and related standards necessary for each Line of Business to consistently identify and remediate contracts presenting significant risk to the bank. Primary focus of this role is to ensure the GPS Front Line Unit adheres to the requirements of the Policy and Standards and maintain an inventory of Significant Risk Contracts where the bank is acting as a vendor of Significant Risk services. .
In this role a Contract Management Officer will:
-Maintain the inventory of Significant Risk Contracts covering Significant Risk Services
-Manage the activity of external consultants and outside counsel
-Coordinate all activities and reporting in order to meet strict regular routine deadlines
-Facilitate communications among the Contract Enabler, Contract Manager, and Contract Owner roles within the LOB.
-Effectively apply analytical, verbal and written communcation skills to represent the Bank in reporting for upper-management committees and external regulators.
-Demonstrate organizational and prioritization skill with a large number of competing, complex documentation assignments.
-Advise and educate internal associates about documentation standards and options, policies and procedures.

-Undergraduate/Graduate degree required with Juris Doctor or paralegal/technical contract training preferred
--Broad knowledge of and comfort working with complex legal documentation (contracts)
-Excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills and is comfortable representing the bank in communications with associates, clients and internal/external counsel at all levels of management.
-Negotiation skills - conducts negotiations effectively, balancing competing objectives to achieve optimal results
-Strong project management and process skills, able to handle full workload with tight deadlines
-Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in corporate & commercial cash management banking
