The Flights

Sr Strategic Growth Associate

You’ll report to the Manager, Strategic Growth Team -Flights who will support you in your growth and development. The ideal candidate has strong strategic thinking and a sense of ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an advocate of the healthy and sustainable growth of the Flights business
  • Lead and/or support in-depth evaluation of commercial/strategic initiatives; ensure expected impact, feasibility and risks are well assessed from various angles
  • Identify and map out different resources to be utilized for a comprehensive evaluation of initiatives; liaise with respective teams to build the right and continuous way of using those resources (e.g. data, dashboard, research…etc)
  • Communicate recommendations supported by a compelling storyline and data to key stakeholders to ensure impact, build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision-making
  • Translate business decisions into well defined projects, create action plans and drive the execution of those plans (when applicable)
  • Inform and play an active role in the roadmap definition and prioritization
  • Drive the execution of new ancillary product plans by closely collaborate with other Commercial teams, Product team and Product Ops team
  • Analyze data, insights and information to support defining the product requirements
  • Support in defining a long term vision and strategy for existing smaller scale initiatives
  • Proactively identify ways to create efficiency in the way of working with the other teams in Flights and supporting functions; create playbooks, provide input for joint roadmap etc.

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in developing and driving the execution of strategic initiatives at a consulting firm and/or corporate strategy/development/planning
  • Ability to distill complex business issues and strategies to highlight insights and actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner
  • Able to translate complex problems into simpler tasks
  • Sense of ownership, with an agile and pragmatic approach to driving execution
  • Strong analytical thinking with a track record in identifying and using both qualitative and quantitative insights to draw conclusions
  • Proven experience in managing projects to full cycle across multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Structured approach in creating and executing on the action plans and in communicating the progress
  • Pragmatic, solution oriented and results-focused
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Master degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or other related field (preferred)
  • Bonus if you have experience in the travel, tech, e-commerce or aviation industry
