The hiring team is looking for an individual who is detail oriented, high drive to execute, adapts quickly to new challenges, works well in a complex environment (highly matrixed, global, fast paced). Assists a project by developing and managing processes, procedures, and tools designed to increase the project’s productivity and may play an integral role as the bridge between Project Managers and the project team. A Project Analyst is tasked to help manage a project’s non-technical requirements. Typically, a project needing a Project Analyst will be of significant size and will require expertise related to the development of project management mechanisms.

This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree.

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience supporting project management and execution.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of key customer events with OEMs

  • Managing team global calendar / aligning teams to project timelines and milestones

  • Engages across highly matrixed global Compute team (OEM Sales, Marketing, GTM, Product Management, etc.) to ensure project milestones are met

  • Tracks & provides project metrics and action items

  • Contributes to and updates project planning activities (e.g., plans, schedules, and work breakdown structure) to support Project Managers or Leads on moderately sized projects or processes.

  • With support and guidance from managers, develops methods for tracking the progress and execution of moderately complex projects/processes to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Assists with implementing new and established processes and methods (e.g. tracking tools, schedules, databases, documentation management systems).

  • Coordinates across teams for moderately sized projects to identify and meet needs, communicate progress, and ensure compliance with processes and guidelines.

Level of Responsibility:

• Works under supervision.

• Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.

• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.

• Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
