In this dynamic client-facing role you are a technical sales consultant to IBM clients, IBM’s sales teams, and IBM Business Partners. You understand the client’s business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape. You must provide in-depth understanding of products, offerings, and services within your specialty as well as strong business acumen to drive compelling value propositions.
- Engagement at various levels of the client organization to assess and identify potential solutions.
- Collaboration to define, design and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed offerings.
- Answer technical questions or RFPs throughout the sales process to progress and close sales.
- Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts.
- Presenting our solutions and your point of view
- Support technical escalations, helping client and partners to adopt our technologies.
- Developing technical guidance
- Provide technical assistance for marketing activities: Regional Workshops, User Group Meetings, Sales Seminars, Meet-ups, and Trade Shows
- Experience with business automation platforms, such as content management, workflow engines, integration tools, or orchestration software.
- Understanding of robotic process automation, workflow automation, process mining
- At least 2 years’ experience in business automation tools, scripting, Cloud environments, and hands-on engineering or field technical sales experience
- Business Goal Translation: Translating business goals into technical solutions through collaborative teamwork.
- Stakeholder Influence: Utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence diverse senior stakeholders within enterprises.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Demonstrating engaging and influential communication and presentation abilities.
- English fluent
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the business automation market, enabling you to consult with clients and build trust (training on IBM's Business Automation offerings will be provided).
- Experience with IBM Business Automation software (e.g. Business Automation Workflow, Automation Decision Services, Enterprise Content Management) and orchestration tools (e.g. watsonx Orchestrate)
- Experience in AI, Machine Learning, or related fields
- RH Openshift or Kubernetes experience
- Certifications in IBM technologies such as OpenShift, watsonx Orchestrate, and others relevant to the role
- Industrial experience preferable finance and telco sectors.
