Job Description

Enhance our brand visibility and build meaningful relationships with Philips’ stakeholders by defining, implementing, and activating proactive social media and influencer programs based on news-focused content.


Your role:

  • Develop and drive an enterprise-level corporate social influencer program, aligned with our Communications and Brand strategy, including leveraging earned content to enhance our reputation.

  • Activate social media content created by the Global External Relations team and provide guidance to the team to drive continuous improvement to improve impact.

  • Drive strong global earned activation via e.g., executive leaders, influencers including healthcare key opinion leaders, and employees.

  • Collaborate across the Global External Relations and Digital Communications teams for proactive and reactive social media issues and crisis management.

  • Collaborate across the Communications & Brand function to build and evolve our digital infrastructure aligned with industry best practices.

  • Produce research, insights, and reporting to quantify and optimize messaging, audience, and tactical implementation.

  • Monitor social media sentiment and conversations relevant to our company and industry and translate that data into actionable insights for the team.


You're the right fit if:

  • You have a master’s degree or equivalent.

  • You have at least 4 years of experience in communications / marketing communications or journalism.

  • You have excellent understanding of the major social platforms, both from a strategic and tactical perspective.

  • You are experienced with relevant software for content creation (photo and video editing) and content management.

  • You have worked in the pharmaceuticals or broader healthcare industry.

  • Your English language is at or near Native standard.

  • You have an attitude for continuous learning and stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

  • You have strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate in matrix organizations.

  • You bring curiosity, energy, and a proactive and results-oriented approach.
