Key Responsibilities

  • Growth Acceleration: Sell and represent GE HealthCare’s Clinical Information Systems and related solutions and services in Italy, covering the entire sales cycle from pre-sales to closing. Accelerate growth through IB conversion & upsell, as well as net new business.

  • Financial objectives: Attain financial and operating objectives, including orders, revenue, and gross margin through successful sales achievements.

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain commercial relationships with key stakeholders across hospitals/hospital groups, government bodies, and group purchasing organizations. Define sales strategies for targeted clients, focusing on new customer development and further development of existing accounts.

  • Market Positioning: Ensure early engagement on governmental & enterprise projects to position GE HealthCare as the partner of choice. Differentiate through appealing solution offerings, designed in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Market visibility: Focus on market visibility and funnel development in short, mid and long term. Follow closely industry trends and identify emerging customer needs/challenges.

  • Country Leadership: As the Sales Leader for Digital PCS Italy, drive long term vison and strategy for the business in country. Drive engagement, create team culture and ensure horizontal collaboration across all functions of the local Digital PCS team to deliver for our customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, technology, IT or other relevant field.

  • Significant professional experience of solution selling in healthcare IT domain in Italy. Strong understanding of market drivers and customer expectations.

  • Proven skills in managing technical and economical aspects of public tendering and framework contracting within digital healthcare (CONSIP Sanità Digitale as a plus).

  • Solid and proven business relationships with CxO levels, with focus on CIOs, in public and private healthcare institutions. Strong customer focus and a desire to continuously improve expertise.

  • Well-developed listening, influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills to drive a collaborative culture at all levels, both customer-facing and internally at GE HealthCare.

  • Advanced presentation skills; ability to present ideas to customers at the C-suite level effectively.

  • Proven track record in closing large, complex, strategic deals.

  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of your working time.

  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and verbal.
