What You'll Do

• Cooperate with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure highly available and scalable production systems.

• Build and maintain highly available and scalable production systems.

• Manage core production systems, including frequent changes and updates.

• Rapidly identify and resolve problems in production systems.

• Optimize Kubernetes clusters for resource utilization and cost-efficiency.

• Provide support during off hours (nights and weekends) when necessary.

• Hands-on work building CI/CD pipelines

• Fully committed to a continuous improvement process to reduce cycle time from commit to production.

What You Bring

• At least 1-2 years’ experience managing and maintaining Linux and Windows servers in a global, multi-server environment.

• Strong familiarity with opensource tools such as Mysql, Zabbix, Nomad, Consul, Kubernetes, Vault, Kafka, CouchDB, haproxy, squid, varnish.

• Experience configuring Amazon Web Services and Azure and/or similar cloud-based platforms.

• Experience in Python/Bash scripts, Terraform, Puppet.

• Working knowledge of monitoring logging, and metrics collection tools in high scale Kubernetes environments (e.g. one of Prometheus, Thanos, OpenTelemetry)
