What will you do:
  • Provide high-level technical support for Cisco’s Service Provider routing products, including but not limited to ASR, NCS, and CRS series.
  • Work closely with the customer to understand their network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring minimal impact on the customer’s operations.
  • Collaborate with Cisco’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC) and Engineering teams to resolve critical issues.
  • Deliver proactive services, including health checks, software upgrades, and optimization recommendations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all support activities, configurations, and changes.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and technical workshops for the customer’s technical staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco SP routing technologies, products, and industry trends.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting Cisco Service Provider routing products.
  • Strong knowledge of SP routing protocols and technologies, such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and QoS.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting complex network issues in large-scale service provider environments.
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE (Service Provider) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to be on-call and provide after-hours support as needed.
