What you'll do... As Sr. Design Researcher Lead, International, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the global application has the cultural sensitivities to meet the needs of our customers in multiple markets around the world.
Essential Functions
In this role, you’ll be expected to provide multiple design disciplines to contribute and lead across Design Research, UX/UI, Data Analysis, Collaboration, and Thought Leadership.
Design Research:
- Apply user-centered research principles and activities to build your subject matter expertise of the business and its customers.
- Requires knowledge of best practices of qualitative and quantitative research; Data analysis techniques; Techniques to detect gaps in information; legal risks, factual errors, and breaches of codes of conduct involving the use of research material.
- Requires knowledge of: User experience strategies; User interviews and surveys; User journeys; Story boards; and/or Contextual inquiries.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in developing and delivering User profiles; Testing scenarios; Documentation; Test plans to define the basics of testing against a design specification (if applicable).
- Determine and build alignment on success metrics for research projects; Purpose of research and how it will be used; Values, limitations, and risks of sources and social networks for research purposes.
- Leverage emerging methods for obtaining relevant information. To independently propose hypotheses/learning objectives for research.
- Provide inputs to modify research approaches and execution plans. Guides research processes with inputs regarding type, quality, and quantity of data and information to be collected. Verifies the reliability and accuracy of the information through detailed checks.
- Build, maintain and operationalize a research roadmap across the US and International User Research teams to ensure that efforts aligned, expected and valued.
- Demonstrate clear communication, organization, and writing skills in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Deliver your work professionally, on or before the deadline, with some autonomy and limited oversight.
UX Design:
- Rapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment.

Data Analysis:
- Clarifies and resolves inconsistencies in the data of research projects.
- Analyzes and interprets relevant data for results and important insights. Translates research insights and metrics, including research from other sources, into actionable recommendations that inform design and business strategies.
- Anticipates and mitigates risks during information synthesis and independently arrives at possible solutions for interactive designs. Analyzes and interprets existing data (for example web analytics, user surveys, and/or customer support calls).
Collaboration :
- Assess gaps between business expectations and user experience strategies. Leverages a deep understanding of trends in user consumption behaviors to develop or improve interaction design and user experience strategies.
- Be willing, able and excited to leverage design thinking methodologies and workshops to align stakeholders in the course of doing your work.
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
- Able to manage cross-functional partnerships and stakeholders through stakeholder identification and mapping; Stakeholder analysis; Stakeholder communication; Stakeholder engagement techniques; Stakeholder management effectiveness tools and methods; Fluency in many specialized business vernacular; Deep understanding of diverse markets to deliver customer and business value; adapt style and best practices to accommodate cultural differences.
- Engage with business partners (internal/external) on a periodic basis and establish credibility for the User Experience Research function.
- Work with the Content Strategy and UX Design functions in close partnership to ensure UX team cohesion, function and support for one another.
- Work with Product Management, Engineering and Market Stakeholders to ensure confidence in our work, abilities and role in the Seller Center business.

- Occasional international travel will be required to multiple facilities or worksites, including extended overnight stays. Estimating 5-10%, once or twice per year, trips likely to extend over 5-10 days.

The annual salary range for this position is $73,000.00-$127,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock
