Tasks:
Preparation, review and approval of the monthly Payroll run for the German entities
Clarification of tax and social security issues on German Payroll topics, e.g. with Payroll providers, auditors or Global Payroll
Processing of various yearly one-time payments for Germany (e.g. Annual bonus, 13th salary, T-ZUG)
Perform analyses of Payroll data
Contact person for employees, team assistants and managers in questions of German Tax, Social security and/or Collective bargaining law; development of solution proposals
Preparation and support of internal and external audits such as SOX, operational and legal audits
Support with Payroll related projects
Payroll processing for selected EMEA countries in cooperation with external Payroll providers
Required education:
Required knowledge:
Required knowledge: familiar with IG Metall Tariff agreement and specifics, different types of shift allowances, communication with Social Insurance and other German Authoritis
Fluent in spoken and written German and English
At least 5 - 7 years of experience in a multinational business environment with focus on Payroll processing for German entities
Familiarity with the latest developments in German Payroll, Law, Social security and Tax, etc.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast paced environment
Good organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills with process improvement mentality
Attention to detail and accuracy
Very good MS Excel skills
SAP HCM (ADP GlobalView) and Workday System knowledge required
