Role Overview

This role is core to our Partner First success working with our partner community to generate and develop new sales opportunities through a variety of means. You’ll initiate prospect relationships to enable value driven conversations, driving prospect interest throughout the early stages of the sales cycle and partnering with our partners and field sales teams on appropriate sales activities to achieve revenue quota objectives. You’ll be passionate about what we can do in partnership to protect our customers. You will be provided training in sales and cyber security principles and solutions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Initiate, master and maintain on-going relationships with partners and prospects, via the phone, email and web, scoping on LinkedIn, attending industry events
  • Understand partner and prospect business and information security environments
  • Position and match Secureworks capability to each partner and prospect business driver and challenge
  • Communicate effectively and establish win/win partnership with partner and regional sales representatives
  • Serve as the initial point of contact with targeted companies and partner sales teams
  • Work with our channel partners to build account plans and contact strategies

Essential Requirements

  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years of experience of cybersecurity software and or SaaS Solutions within an Inside Sales / Lead Generation role
  • Strong ability and awareness to grasp complex, sophisticated solution service sales processes and position effectively to prospects
  • Ability, passion and desire to prioritise prospects and generate new opportunities through research, prospecting phone calls and networking
  • Team oriented with ability to thrive and add to a competitive, energy filled environment
  • Persistence and willingness to learn and adapt on a daily basis
  • Self-starter who is motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be fluent in English to a professional level both written and spoken
