The Role

As a Finance Manager for the Managed (Corporate) Segment within SMC, you will work across multiple geographies and drive the growth opportunities for ANZ, ASEAN and Korea. You will be an Individual Contributor and part of the Asia SMC Regional Finance team within MCAPS Asia Finance.

You will partner with the Area SMC Leads and other Finance Managers across Asia and Corporate HQ to support various finance processes such as month close, budgeting, forecasting, outlook, aspiration plans etc.

You will also participate in the WW Finance Community initiatives and amplify the voice of Asia with Corporate HQ and help land initiatives in Asia. You will develop deep subject matter expertise in the SMC Business and drive strong performance and sustainable growth for the business.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/ Accounting/ Finance/ Economics/ Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years of relevant work experience in financial analysis and planning preferably in a Multinational Organization.

  • Qualified candidates should have a combination of numerous years’ experience in Finance with strong demonstration of business partnering capabilities and analytical strength. The successful candidate should have relevant experience as a Segment / Product Controller, preferably in an MNC, proven track record of achieving exceptional results through influence where no direct line authority exists. We are recruiting both internally and externally for this role.

Responsibilities

Partnership

  • Provide financial guidance and insights to the SMC Leads in ANZ, ASEAN and Korea, and help them achieve revenue and growth targets in the Managed (Corporate) Segment.
  • Coordinate with other Asia SMC Finance Managers to represent Asia's interests and needs to Corp, and to implement Corp initiatives in the field.
  • In partnership with the Asia COO, SMC-C Lead and Sales Excellence Lead identify local business barriers and share learnings and best practices with the WW community to find solutions.

Prioritization

  • In partnership with other Asia SMC Finance Managers, lead the finance processes, including forecasting and planning, with a focus on accuracy and business accountability.
  • Leverage pipeline, other business insights to consistently strive for improvements on forecast accuracy and predictability.
  • In partnership with the Asia GPS Finance Managers, understand the key drivers and insights on our cloud business (CSP) through channel.
  • Provide deep insightful commentary on business drivers that inform action at various ROBs (e.g. Area Performance Reviews, Quarterly Business reviews, Month Close, Forecast)

People

  • Work closely with Asia SMC CSA Finance managers and partner with the WW Community Lead to focus on the key insights and projects to accelerate our growth.
  • Identify finance best practices and share them broadly within Asia and WW.
  • Connect the dots and help Field finance team land the Corp strategy or escalate issues and help needed.
