Working in Application Support means you'll use both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain application systems that are crucial to the daily operations of the firm. You'll work collaboratively in teams on a wide range of projects based on your primary area of focus: design or programming. While learning to fix application and data issues as they arise, you'll also gain exposure to software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement, in addition to production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines. As an Application Support professional, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives. You’ll be part of a team specifically built to meet and exceed our evolving technology needs, as well as our technology controls agenda. Corporate Technology builds and supports the firm's financial infrastructure to ensure finance professionals have access to the tools and information necessary to deliver and drive success. We deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients. Corporate Technology provides technology support for general ledger, profitability, cost allocations, treasury, accounts payable, reference data, project accounting and fixed assets and Risk applications. This team performs day to day production support and is the primary point of contact for the Wholesale Credit Risk, Core Credit, Credit Portfolio Group, Market Risk, and Consumer Bank businesses.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of application development
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming (Java, Python, etc.)
• Experience with database technologies, i.e., ability to develop and execute SQL queries
• Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Working knowledge of scheduling tools (Autosys, Control M)
• Basic Cloud knowledge (AWS, Kubernetes)
