The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Developing, proposing and implementing organization designs that meet the needs and strategic priorities of business and functional clients
  • Leading complex and global projects, including scoping project deliverables, identifying measurable outcomes, anticipating and proactively planning change impacts, etc.
  • Creating and implementing strategies to meet current and anticipated capability needs within specific BGs and Functions; including partnering with HR Centers of Excellence subject matter experts to determine the most effective way to build or acquire capabilities
  • Designing and implementing high-impact strategies, initiatives, or processes (e.g., change management plans, retention programs, strategies for workforce reductions, expansions, or shifts, etc.)
  • Leading HR process design or redesign to align to our operating model and HR structure (potential, performance, promotion, etc.)
  • Partnering with SMEs across HR COEs by leading priorities with enterprise-wide impact, aligned to strategic imperatives of 3M’s employee experience
  • Partnering with business clients and the HR M&A team on execution of mergers, acquisitions, and/or divestitures

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Extensive experience in Human Resources across multiple HR disciplines in multinational companies
  • Project Management experience leadingcross-functional/globalproject teams or workstreams
  • Experience working with clients and stakeholders at various levels of the organization located across the globe
  • Proficiency in English

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Ability to influence all organizational levels and communicate complex topics clearly, adjusting the approach for different audiences
  • Experience working with Agile methodology
  • Experience in designing and implementing organizational designs that meet business objectives
  • Experience with or demonstrated knowledge of change management, including identifying change impacts, creating and implementing mitigation strategies, and measuring change process/success
  • Experience executing people plans aligned to business strategies (capabilityplanning/advancement,employee engagement, talent management, DEI initiatives, etc.)
  • Experience in HR consulting role
  • Proficiency in additional language

Job specifics:

  • Work location: Hybrid
  • Travel: May include up to 15%domestic/international
  • Flexibility: this role requires collaboration with stakeholders across different time zones (mostly US). As a result, the work schedule may need to be adjusted to include meetings outside of standard working hours.
