Global Managed Service – Identity and access Management – Staff
The Okta Provisioning Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of the Okta Identity Management platform. This role involves provisioning, de-provisioning, and managing user accounts and access rights across various applications and systems. The analyst will work closely with IT, HR, and security teams to ensure that access controls are maintained in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
Key Requirements / Responsibilities:
- Administer user accounts, roles, and access rights within the Okta platform.
- Collaborate with HR and IT departments to ensure timely provisioning and de-provisioning of user access as part of the employee lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user authentication, authorization, and SSO (Single Sign-On) integrations.
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of Okta's Universal Directory, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Adaptive MFA.
- Monitor and audit access logs to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of IAM policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide support and guidance to end-users regarding access management and Okta functionalities.
- Work with application teams to integrate new applications into the Okta platform.
- Assist in identity governance and role-based access control (RBAC) initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IAM processes and the Okta environment.
- Keep abreast of the latest Okta features and updates, as well as industry best practices in IAM.
Preferred Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in identity and access management, preferably with Okta or similar IAM tools.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, SSO, MFA, and directory services.
- Experience with user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access certification processes.
- Familiarity with IT security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Professional) are a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Work Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as required
- Willingness to be on call support engineer and work occasional overtime as required
- Willingness to work in shifts as required
