Senior Network Design & Planning Engineer

Excellent understanding and Hands-on experience on Radio network 2G/3G/LTE and 5G (SA and NSA)
Excellent understanding and Hand-on experience on Radio network planning and optimization tasks, including Swap projects. Able to lead swap activities.

Prepares and responsible for Parameter workbook
Able to do mapping of features and parameters from other vendors to Nokia
Able to map KPIs and counters from other vendors to Nokia, for pre and post network swap comparison
Prepare feature design
Able to do delta analysis for new software release and evaluate the impacts on KPIs, algorithm and parameter changes

Having good soft skills, especially good presentation and communication skills. Able to lead the project from technical side.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • Lead Swap project as NPO Design lead
  • Responsible for High-level design / Low-level design (HLD/LLD)
  • Contributes to planning and design activities
  • Prepares and responsible for Parameter workbook
  • Prepare feature design
  • Able to do mapping of features and parameters from other vendors to Nokia
  • Able to map KPIs and counters from other vendors to Nokia, for pre and post network swap comparison
  • Able to do delta analysis for new software release and evaluate the impacts on KPIs, algorithm and parameter changes
  • Working on tool: Netact or MantRay (PM,CM tools), NDE, 9955, Mapinfo etc.
  • Customer facing skills and able to present data

May at times be required to negotiate regarding operational issues.Has cross-cultural knowledge and global mindsetManagement experience / Achieved advanced skills and knowledge within a specific professional discipline involving the integration of theory and principles with organisational practices and precedents. Typically requires 4-6 years relevant experience and/or a graduate equivalent (or higher) degree.
