A day in the life

  • Supporting Outbrain DSP/Zemanta Performance accounts – recognising potential areas of growth for new clients and helping them ensure success and scale
  • Working together with the Global Key Accounts and other teams
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of programmatic campaign execution, programmatic supply, different performance strategies, scaling of new opportunities and upselling new product features.
  • In your first month, you should find your bearings, begin to grasp the Outbrain DSP/Zemanta products and start to build key internal and external relationships. You should feel comfortable navigating our internal systems and will start communicating with clients. You’ll be responsible for the hands-on campaign understanding, performance and optimization recommendations.
  • After three months, you’ll be the day to day contact for your clients, helping them achieve their KPIs and developing data-driven optimization strategies. You will be recognized for successes and own failures.
  • When you finish up your first year, you’ll be an essential member of the customer success team, substantially contributing to the team’s success by managing the daily workflow for your client accounts.

What you’ll bring

  • 2-3 years of client-facing account management with an understanding of digital marketing, digital landscape and programmatic environment.
  • 2 years of experience on large and known DSPs (such as DV360, Yahoo DSP, Xandr, TheTradeDesk, Quantcast, MediaOne and more), working directly with programmatic performance buyers or brandformance agencies – Major Advantage
  • A go-getter and growth attitude. You’re hungry to achieve revenue goals via upsells and renewals. You are eager to try new approaches and strategies even if it means failing.
  • An analytical disposition. You're comfortable digging through data, manipulating it in excel, and drawing out impactful insights for your clients.
  • An optimistic attitude, strong passion for your work, intellectual curiosity and ability to positively influence your peers.
  • Ambition and curiosity. You are resourceful, bright, proactive and a go-getter who works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent storyteller & communicator. You’re proficient with presentation software & comfortable presenting data-driven stories and recommendations internally and externally.
