To collaboratively work with Channel Account Managers on the technical enablement, development and readiness of the assigned Fortinet channel partners.
Will drive the technical strategies and enablement in close alignment with Fortinet channel partners sales organization to achieve the commercial goals of the Fortinet partners.
Serve as a trusted advisor for channel partners and work with the Channel Account Managers to demonstrate the business value of Fortinet solutions.
Guide and train the channel partners to successfully position and sell Fortinet solutions by providing technical, consultative and architectural pre-sales support.
Will provide technical guidance for the channel partners to achieve the required Fortinet Certifications.
Keep the channel partners up to date on Fortinet product, solution and service offerings and promotions.
Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations, solution showcases and proof of concepts (POCs) for partners and prospects.
Keep current with channel partners’ landscape in business drives and market issues, industry technology and trends.
Partnering channel partners to conduct training workshop for clients and prospects.
Support the channel partners in their events and seminars.
Participate in performance assessment of the channel partners technical readiness and progression.
Requirements:
Highly skilled in network and cyber security and motivated to join the channel SE team
Experience with SecOps solutions, including EDR, SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, Advanced Threat Protection
Experience with partners and MSSP, mapping their managed services and capabilities and supporting Fortinet adoption and partner loyalty
Passion for delivering business outcomes to channel partners through ongoing enablement and relationships with all the technical references of our strategic partners
Excellent communication skills
Preferably based in Rome
Apply if you:
Have a high aptitude for security technology, specifically encryption, authentication, with further knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN and WAN being desirable. The CISSP accreditation would also be beneficial.
Are currently or have previously worked in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals, through to technical closure.
Can demonstrate your problem-solving skills and how this has impacted key wins within your current organisation.
Understand and can demonstrate your ability to build and maintain customer relationships, including your ability to effectively communicate technically to a range of both external and internal stakeholders.
Have a strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
