As a Global Executive Positioning Team Supervising Associate, you'll be responsible for:
• Contract management for sponsorships and memberships, including coordination Independence, legal and procurement reviews, in line with internal processes and guidelines, and gaining approvals as needed.
• Finance management including budgeting, invoice submission and actuals review
• Events support including planning, vendor management, budgeting, and client intel research
• Handling client intel research for sponsorships and meeting, utilizing internal systems and our proprietary MARCO tool, as well as onboarding and managing an internal support team for client intel research as necessary. You’re likely to spend most of your time connecting with colleagues across the BMC organization and other sectors, geographies and service lines. You’ll need to build a network of contacts across the firm.
• Identify ways to improve MARCO and work with IT to agree and implement the changes.
Assist with various ad-hoc projects and tasks for the Office of the Chairman. This includes client intel work, Chairman’s holiday greetings to our external clients etc. In this role, you will gain an understanding of the many areas of the firm. The greatest challenge will be managing the details to ensure that items are approved within tight deadlines and with a sense of urgency. The role requires that the team member has the ability to work independently on day-to-day details, follow-up in a timely manner and keep meticulous notes on the status of all assignments.
• A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently
• Excellent communication and networking skills, specifically the ability to write clear but concise notes/emails that communicates information into simple but complete messages.
• Be comfortable with using technology and have interest to improve the client research tool
• Ability to be flexible and work in a high pace, agile environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively and independently.
• Willingness to occasionally work overtime and on public holidays during the peak season
• Experience or an aptitude for working with contracts, Independence and global level finance
• Excellent Excel (pivot, power query) and PowerPoint skills
• Strong writing and verbal communications skills
• Experience juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with diverse teams across time zones
• Experience working in Power BI
• High level of influencing and networking skills
• Ability to multi-task without losing focus on the big picture
