In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.
Drives complex business transactions from deal conception and negotiations to contract closure with companies, positively and significantly impacting industrial and automotive businesses' bottom line and competitive position.
Contributes to business strategy development or other strategic projects as appropriate.
Develops business relationships with third parties to understand the business and technical requirements.
Works closely with internal development teams to guide the direction of business unit platform/product portfolios and accomplish business unit strategic objectives.
Conducts industry and market research to make build, buy, or partner recommendations to the leadership team.
Builds the business case to justify potential strategic partnerships and corporate transactions.
Partners with cross-functional teams to evaluate and drive strategic thinking on expansion opportunities.
Identifies opportunities that support strategic priorities by interacting with senior business leaders, software companies, and organic pipeline generation.
Owns the budgetary and financial performance for part or the whole business unit while ensuring strict alignment with all ethics, risks, and compliance policies and processes.
Develops and strengthens strategic relationships with key customers to support technical and commercial activities in alignment with compliance guidelines.
Represents the business unit(s) at various company levels, internally and externally.
Guides the team in handling complex HR impediments and escalations and takes conclusive action as and when required.
Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.
Drives results by inspiring people, role-modeling Intel values, developing others' capabilities, and ensuring a productive work environment.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field of study.
10+ years of EDA Industry and 5+ years of FPGA industry experience
People Management experience
