Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global Organization

The supports the $11B Industrial Automation (IA) segment and plays a keyrole in driving business outcomes through these two mission critical growthvectors. This role reports to the Vice President, IA BAP while partneringclosely with IA’s Chief Technology Officer and Chief Commercial Officer to leadsignificant organic growth. You will play a key part and driving IA’s NPIprocess and ensuring our commercial structure enables desired growth outcomes.You will develop integrated orders, revenue and margin analyses, projections,reports and presentations. You will identify trends and developments incompetitive environments and present findings to senior management. You will partnerwith the larger BAP team to create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annualreports to ensure financial information has been recorded accurately. TheDirector Finance drives business strategy and performance by enablingvisibility to key operational and commercial performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Key business partner to Chief Technology Officer and Chief Commercial Officer
  • Drive rigorous, growth-oriented MOS that ensures research and development spend is focused on high return on investment solutions
  • Forge clear strategic investment plans (people, structure, capital) in high growth regions to ensure results meet short and long term expectations
  • Short, medium and long term forecasting and planning
  • Translate business objectives into actionable targets
  • Drive accountability with operating and commercial teams
  • Develop IA BAP team and analysts and manage priorities
  • Establish clear processes with focus on continues improvement and simplification
  • Lead complex initiatives and manage conflicting priorities

Must Have

  • 10 years of relevant finance experience
  • Experience developing forecasts and operating plans
  • Exceptional analytical skills (linking results to drivers)
  • Transformational mindset focused on growth
