Build and mentor a strong, motivated team capable of consistently delivering high quality results against aggressive targets
Allocate Industrial Engineering technicians across multiple business units and various technical requirements
Drive highest quality work across multiple disciplines: work measurement accuracy; cycle time analysis, bottleneck identification and improvement, capacity analysis, labor analysis and planning, factory layout accuracy
Maintain and track teams KPI’s, ensure technicians meet timelines and objectives
Work cross-functionally with leadership to achieve project implementation
Understand and determine priority with various competing internal customer priorities
Develop hiring, training, and career progression plans for given team, while increasing individual skillsets. This would include conducting weekly 1x1’s with each individual technician
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
3+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment
2+ years managing teams of people in a production environment
Knowledge of production capacity and labor planning, 5S, lean manufacturing or 6-Sigma principles
Proficient with MS office programs (Excel, PowerPoint), SQL, VBA, AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
Experience selecting and developing new team members
